Our favorite Villa Giada
I firmly believe in respecting nature and the environment in which I live.
The philosophy of good, clean and fair leads me to always follow the criteria of environmentally friendly agriculture, where the integration of man and nature is fundamental. The vines are all grassed and non-traditional products have been banned for years.
The Villa Giada estate is located in the heart of the Piedmont wine region, halfway between the hills of Asti and Alba, where the lands of Monferrato and the Langhe meet. We can count on more than 25 hectares of property vineyards, grouped around three old farms, located not far from each other.
Cascina Ceirole, in the municipality of Canelli, the original nucleus of the property where the winery is located, and 7 hectares of vines located at approximately 320 meters above sea level.
Cascina del Parroco, consists of a 4 hectare vineyard on a small plateau overlooking the Nizza river valley.
Cascina Dani in Agliano Terme which is the heart of Barbera production.
The 14 hectares are ideally located on loose soil, combining a good balance between sand and clay, well drained and rich in mineral salts. The estate is exposed to the south-east, from where we obtain our best bunches which are intended, only in the best years, to be vinified with care in order to better enhance the particular characteristics of this vineyard.
