In March 1929 Michele Inaudi received his license for the Grocery Products Trade in the province of Cuneo in Piedmont. In the 1950s the family specialized in the mushroom trade, more particularly Ceps which were the most prized among the land's products. Clemente Inaudi, the son, believes in this forest fruit and at the end of the 60s specialized not only in the sale of the fresh product but also in the production and packaging in jars.
The porcini mushroom and the truffle, two specialties of the Piedmontese land, thus became the basis of the activity of the new company Inaudi, established at the beginning of the 1970s in Borgo San Dalmazzo in the province of Cuneo, a town at the foot of a scenery grandiose mountains.
Since the beginning, Clemente Inaudi has developed a very specific policy which favors quality, positioning itself in the medium and high range. This is made possible thanks to careful research into picking areas, in order to obtain selected and guaranteed raw materials, and thanks to the entirely artisanal nature of all production.
